      Above anything else, science itself.

      The ability to think rationally and sceptically. To use facts to turn information to knowledge. To constantly test and retest methods and ideas and theories, to not blindly follow intuition or authority.

      From science has come all the great inventions that have improved our planet: antibiotics, electricity, the internet, chocolate cake. So this might be a cheat answer 🙂
