• Question: How far away is the moon?

      The Moon is 384,400 km away from us and it takes about 3 days to get there in a rocket. The Moon actually moves around the Earth in a slight oval shape which means it gets slightly closer and further away at different points. That’s when we get a ‘Super Moon’. It is still moving away from us at about 4cm each year though
