Yes, plenty: to travel anywhere in space you need a protective ship to carry you there. To reach the International Space Station, for instance, astronauts must fly aboard a Soyuz capsule sat atop thousands of tonnes of fuel.

Yes; if you have a few of hundred of thousands of pounds going spare soon you will be able to go in a spaceship (to space) (when you are an adult); there are companies like Virgin Galactic working towards offering commercial space flight to anyone. If you have a little bit more money floating around (behind the couch?) then the Russians will give you a lift today if you want.

Going on from what Stephen said, there is actually a company called Space-X that have revealed they will be sending customers around the Moon next year! They kept that a very tight secret from everyone, but it is probably costing the customers a LOT of money.

I’ve never been a spaceship myself but I did see Space Shuttle Endeavour launch from NASA in Florida when I was younger, and that was really amazing!

If anyone would like to help me in acquiring a trip in a spaceship that would be great. I can’t wait for a time (hopefully while I am still about) that space travel is more common and we start to explore the universe more. Just think, we have been able to explore quite a bit of our Solar system in the last 50 years, what does the next 50 years hold?
