I have been working in a physics department for around 10 years. At the beginning of this I was more engineering parts to make experiments and in the research labs. However, for about the last 7 years I have been working in the area of planetary science but more specifically planetary rings.

I’ve been studying Mars for three years now, following a university module that inspired me to study a Masters and then PhD on the subject.

I’ve been doing this job for about 2.5 years. Before that I was what is known as an “Analyst” (doing all the maths for spaceship calculations) for about 5 years.
Before that I was at university for about 6 years doing my undergraduate course and research into jet engine technology. Before that . . . school.

I have been studying physics and space for the last 7 years, but it is only in the last 6 months I have been a PhD researcher :). I have been looking at getting resources from space after a project I did last year looking at getting resources from Mars.
