I absolutely love magnolia trees. They’re just coming into bloom now and there’s one I stop and stare at every day because its petals go from pure white to pink-purple and are the length of my hand. You can’t miss them, they’re unlike any other blossom tree.
They also might have been some of the earliest flowering plants on Earth, with their class appearing around 100 million years ago, which is a nice thought.
When it comes to flowers it would have to be wisteria. In spring when not much else is in bloom the long trailing flowers form a well train wisteria vine can look fantastic. You should have a search for the Wisteria Tunnel at Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Japan as an example of what they can look like. They can be considered a weed sometimes as they grow so fast and can be very destructive, but when cared for and trained properly they can look amazing.
My favourite flowers are kid of like daisies, they’re called Gerberas. They are very simple but they make me smile and they can come in maaaany colours.
As this is the space zone, I wonder if you meant ‘what is your favourite planet?’ So just in case I’ll answer that one too :).
My favourite planet is Venus because it is most unlike the other planets. It spins in the opposite direction to the others and it is hotter than Mercury even though it is further away from the Sun. This is because of Venus’s atmosphere which has a crazy greenhouse effect which makes it super hot and made of acid! That’s why our machines that go to Venus only last a few hours before they melt…
